Robin’s work experience in the not for profit sector includes management roles with the NZ AIDS Foundation and Relationship Services Whakawhanaungatanga. She also has a long history of involvement with grassroots volunteer organisations. Since graduating from university as a mature student she has continued to study in fields such as social work, dispute resolution and not for profit management.

She strongly believes that with motivation, support and encouragement people have the ability to make significant personal changes, which have a positive flow on effect to all other parts of their lives, and to the community as a whole. The services provided by Home and Family contribute to these positive changes.

She has five independent adult children, and lives near the beach with her partner, two young boys and assorted animals.
