Have you ever considered leaving a gift that will continue to help those in need in your community beyond your lifetime.

There will always be those in our society that need assistance. A bequest is a special gift that can help our organisation continue its work with some of the most vulnerable people in our community. Home and Family have been serving the community for 100 years and will continue to do so wherever we perceive there is a need.

A bequest is a special way for you to make a difference in someone's life and we hope you consider including Home and Family in your Will.

We recommend you get professional advice when drawing up your will and suggest the following wording:

I give and bequeath to Home and Family Society Christchurch Incorporated for the general (or specific) purposes of Home and Family the sum of $ …………(or the residue of or % of my estate) and I declare that the receipt of a proper officer of Home and Family Society Christchurch Incorporated shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.

You may have a particular area you wish to support; perhaps the 24 hour Emergency Supported Accommodation or counselling for children who have suffered abuse. Please contact us and we would be happy to discuss the options with you to ensure your bequest best meets your wishes.

We would like the opportunity to acknowledge and thank those who decide to include us in their Will, so please let us know. You will receive a certificate acknowledging your bequest. We can include you in our mailing list (if you desire). You can then receive regular updates on what is happening at Home and Family.
