There are many ways to support Home & Family at your workplace.
Payroll Giving – A simple and tax-efficient way to support Home & Family
Payroll Giving is when employees donate through their payroll. This can be a one-time donation or a regular donation per pay period. The process is managed by your Payroll Team, who deduct the donation directly (pre-tax) from the employees’ pay and transfer to Home & Family.
To encourage staff to make donations, your business can opt to match an employee’s donation, which can be a dollar-to-dollar basis or %.
You and your employees will then receive regular updates on how your contributions are making an impact, keeping tamariki safe, supporting them to thrive, and enabling them to live in homes with whānau who cherish them.

Want your contribution to be your time rather than financial? Come and volunteer for a day or two! Here’s how your employees can help:
Gardening – at Home & Family, we’re lucky enough to have lovely gardens and outside space that needs tending on a regular basis. Whether this is planting seeds, looking after our greenhouse, or mowing the lawn – this is a great way to ensure our grounds are kept warm and inviting for children and families that use our services.
Maintenance – from time to time, we may need some extra hands for maintenance around the grounds. This could be general jobs or could be something more skilled – like plumbing or electrical work. Get in touch if you’re interested.
Fundraising Event Volunteers – we could always do with a helping hand with fundraising events. Shaking buckets, manning the sausage sizzler, you name it! Your team can play a vital role in making a bigger impact.
Got a skill that you’d like to share with Home & Family? We’d love to hear from you!
Workplace fundraising events are a great way to increase employee satisfaction, engagement, and overall wellbeing. Whether this is organised by a team, department, or is organisation-wide, there are events to suit all types of employees! Many are low-key and quick and easy to organise.
