Our long-standing partnership with the Rātā Foundation has been pivotal in our ability to support tamariki and whānau. For more than 20 years, their unwavering belief in our vision has inspired us daily, enabling us to walk alongside families through their most challenging times.
We were honoured to be featured in Rātā Foundation’s Faces of Funding series, which highlighted the process and outcomes of the Impact Lab’s Good Measure Report. Thanks to Rātā’s support and the expertise of Impact Lab, we’ve been able to measure our impact, refine our processes, and strengthen our services.
Our mahi is only possible through meaningful partnerships. If you believe our work aligns with your trust’s funding priorities, we’d love to connect.
With support from the Rātā Foundation, Home & Family set out to test the intergenerational impacts of our parenting programmes – SafeCare & Brief Intervention.
Over the period of June 2023 – July 2024, a Good Measure Report, conducted by Impact Lab, found that children of parents who received parenting support benefited from:
This equated to over $17,000 in social value over the course of their lifetime! Not only that, for every $1 invested in Home & Family’s parenting programmes, $2.20 of social value was delivered back to the community.

Kōmanawa – or oasis – is the name given to our purpose-built children’s centre. Completed in August 2025, Kōmanawa is the new home of our supervised contact, child therapy, and psychology services. This is a safe, welcoming and inviting space where tamariki and whānau can reconnect, restore trust, and rebuild relationships.
Creating this space was only possible thanks to the generosity of local businesses, funders, and our local community.
