As part of our ongoing fundraising efforts, we sell regenerated items through TradeMe and SwapShop events. You can really help us out by donating items for upcycling and/or resale. Alternatively, you can hold your own swap-shop event. See below for more details.Hold your Own Swap Shop
Home & Family regularly holds fundraising events – you might want to be a dancer in our ‘Dancing with the Stars’ event or enter a soccer team for our football fundraiser. And we’re always looking for extra pairs of hands on the day. If you would like to make Home & Family a recipient charity for another event you’re participating in, please get in touch and we’ll give you everything you need. If you want to get involved with one of our events, please give us a call!
You can help Home & Family continue its work with vulnerable families for generations to come by leaving a gift that will last beyond your lifetime. Home & Family have been serving the Christchurch community since 1898. You can decide how you want the bequest to be used or make it freely so that Home & Family can apply the funds in the areas where they are most needed. Bequests continue to provide valuable support to our services, long after the gift has been received. If you would like more information about making a bequest to Home & Family, please get in touch with us, using the details below.
Payroll giving is a tax efficient way to make a regular donation to Home & Family straight from your salary. Donations are taken before tax, meaning a $10 donation would cost you $8. If your employer allows you to do payroll giving and you would like to become a payroll giver, complete this form and give it to your employer’s payroll department. For more information, or if you are an employer, get in touch.Payroll Giving Form
There are hundreds of other ways you can support Home & Family. In the past, we’ve received furniture for our parenting programme, teddies for our play rooms and the use of venues for a night, free of charge, to name but a few things. Please get in touch if you think you can help.
